Top AI Tools for Job Interview Success

After OpenAI released its new version of ChatGPT4o, I thought it would be a great opportunity to test my interview skills and ask for AI assistance in evaluating my answers and providing recommendations to improve them. I immediately started searching for existing applications to see how others have implemented this. I found several options, and in this article, I’ll tell you about them, show you how they work, and share my own experience testing these apps. This will help you decide whether they are worth your time and if they are useful to you.

Use GPT-4o in voice mode.

No limitations, full customization of questions, answers, and the interview process. Cost is $20 per month.

Mock Interviewer AI

My second favorite. Simple registration, 2 free interviews per month. Answers are 2 minutes long. AI evaluates the answers and provides recommendations for improvement. Prices start at $19.99 per month, which includes 15 interviews.

Practice Interview AI

Testing is available without registration, with preloaded questions for some positions and the option to upload a new job posting. Answers are recorded with a maximum length of 2 minutes. Feedback is quite detailed and includes recommendations. Prices start at $3 per interview, but the minimum package is $9. The interface is user-friendly, and I appreciated the absence of a subscription.

Interview Prep AI

Interviews by AI

Testing is available without registration, with prices starting at $9 per month for the option with unlimited questions. Resume upload will be added later. I appreciated the thorough answers.

Huru Web and Apps

Easy registration, over 2000 preloaded questions. Price is $24.99 per month. The free version analyzes only one question. It also has apps for both operating systems.

I couldn’t test it because there was no simplified registration form. The free version includes a 10-minute interview, and the paid version starts at £9.99 per month.

Summarizing my findings, I can say that the built-in tool in ChatGPT4o is actually the best because it has no limits, is easily accessible, and you don’t need to register on any additional websites. Everything is at your fingertips, it understands your language, and it’s more flexible since you can ask it additional clarifying questions and request more precise answers and tips on how to further improve your skills and best practices.

Does this mean that other tools are not worth considering or will be unused? Probably not, as there is still an audience that doesn’t have access to ChatGPT and will find these tools helpful. Additionally, these apps can find their niche in the corporate sector, where there are various complex needs and where these tools can be indispensable. They can also be implemented in HR CRM systems for the daily work of recruiters.
